Delete account

You can delete your Klaffa account in the app or by email. Here is what is removed and what we are required to keep.

1How to delete your account

In the app: open Profile → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your account is closed immediately.

Without the app: email privacy@klaffa.app from the email address you use in Klaffa. We verify it’s you and reply within 30 days.

If you are the sole owner of an organization that has other members, the app asks you to appoint a new owner first.

2What is deleted

• Name, phone number, address and personal identity number are removed from your profile. The name is replaced with “Raderad användare” (deleted user).
• Bank details (clearing and account number, Swish, IBAN) are deleted.
• Push notification tokens are deleted.
• Your memberships and pending invitations are closed, and unsigned agreements are cancelled.
• The sign-in account with your email address is removed.

3What is kept for seven years

The Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires payroll and accounting records to be kept for seven years. The following therefore remains, linked to an anonymized profile without your name and personal identity number:

• engagements with work days,
• shifts and check-ins,
• signed agreements with the signature log (time, IP address and device),
• payroll records.

After seven years the records are purged.
